Ahen Kim is in his third year with MAVBC. Ahen returns in his second year as our 14 Travel Head Coach.
Ahen came to George Washington University after serving as an assistant coach at Catholic University in Washington. With Ahen's guidance, the Cardinals posted a 24-14 overall record in 2009 and a 4-2 mark in the Landmark Conference.
A native of Philadelphia, Kim attended Franklin and Marshall College where he was a captain of the men's volleyball club team. An outside hitter and defensive specialist, Kim brings strong defensive skills and knowledge to GW.
Kim spent the summer of 2006 studying abroad in London at Westminster University and is fluent in Korean. Kim is a 2007 graduate of Franklin and Marshall with a bachelor's degree in sociology and American Government. He is currently employed full-time at Capital Partners in Education, a non-profit organization in Washington, DC.
