This will be Nancy Nixon’s second year with Metro American Volleyball Club.  She began her coaching experience as an assistant coach with a BRYC League team in 2009.  Nancy coaches at our American University Camps and also at various clinics through MAVBC.  In addition, she recently received her CAP I coaching certification.  In addition to her coaching accomplishments, Nancy brings incredible leadership skills as she volunteers in a multitude of roles within her community.

Nancy began her volleyball career at Glenelg High School where she was selected to play for the first Juniors USVBA team in Columbia, MD. 

She then went on to play volleyball for American University, where she earned her B.S.B.A in International Business and Finance. 

Nancy has played USAV for 15 years and has played in countless volleyball leagues around the DC metro area where she has won multiple league championships.  

Nancy is married to Steve and has two girls, Sydney and Tessa.
